Despite the fact that the years are marching on all too quickly, it is fun to celebrate the odd birthday every now and again. This year I was thoroughly spoiled because having my sister in town meant I had someone to celebrate with and for once Ryan and I were in the same city at the same time so even though he had to work we still met up during the day and after. I had been excited to try a tea shop in NYC called Alice's Tea Cup which as the name suggests is an Alice in Wonderland themed tea/coffee shop with three locations in the city. The restaurant is very quaint and the food is amazing! We tried the Mad Hatter's Platter for two with scones, sandwiches and desserts, all of which you can customize and the traditional Alice's Tea for our unlimited teapot of tea.
