Happy Anni!

It has been a year since the big day.. We had such an awesome time - wish we could do it all again. Especially as it has been about the same length of time since we saw everyone that was there. Thank you for being there. I intended to just post one picture to symbolise the day. Something soppy or mushy or the like. In the end I have a whole bunch of pics, yes soppy and mushy are there but so are downright hilarious. Thanks to all of you for making it such fun.

Um.. Alex what exactly are you so fervently looking for..

Yes I'm talking to you.. Sneaky thang.

Ah, I loved my veil so much.. but I seemed to lose it a bit too quickly after the service.

Whilst medicine and architecture are both admiral professions, I think both Stallone and Scholsie should consider pursuing careers on-stage..

Soppy/Mushy warning:
To my angel, thank you for an incredible year that has flown like the wind. We have begun the adventure on which dreams are based. Here is to the next chapter which I hope includes a chocolate dachshund puppy and an I-Pad (for you). Just a hint. x

Ground-breaking Blizzard!

We've only been in Chicago for one winter and we were (un)lucky enough to be part of the third most impressive blizzard in Chicago's history. The whole city shut down: schools closed, most people didn't go to work, the mail couldn't be delivered. It was a ghost town! I did go to work but was able to come home a little early and Ryan and I were able to go and play in the snow. Yay for snow days! It was perfect!

The first part of this post is footage and pictures from the night of the blizzard. Ryan went out in the eye of the storm at 11pm to experience it. The second part is the snow day and the frolicking in the park.
